Great service – Roman did a great job coloring my hair. Everyone who dealt with me was so kind and friendly, which was just what I needed being new to Pittsburgh. After my asking about other services the salon offers at the end of my cut and color Roman took time to show me around.

I like to make a whole event out of my visit there ... What i like to do once a month is to make an appointment with Roman, bring down my girls, then go shopping on Ellsworth and Walnut. Absolutely Worth It – I've lived in Shadyside for five years and been to pretty much every salon at least once-- Roman at Capristo's is the best. No question. I have naturally curly hair that I straighten and Roman cuts it so it looks great either way, which is difficult. He's a lot of fun as well! Brazilian wax in Pittsburgh just got better – I have been to many salons in the Burgh looking for the exact waxing service worth the high price. My search is over thanks to Shelly at Capristo. This girl is The Brazilian wax queen, I'm not even joking, she knows what's up down and all around. If you get waxed by Shelly be assuered your in good hands.
Lydia Rocks!!!! – I just want to let everyone know that i had the best facial of my life outside of the super, super expensive LA /NYC circuit. They have the sweetest European lady that really knows what she's doing. Lydia waxes, does nails, massages and facials. I swear to god this woman has healing hands. Capristo is the best because of Roman and Shelly! – I would highly recommend Capristo for any services. Roman is a genius when it comes to hair. He was able to envision what I wanted for my highlights and I am ecstatic with the outcome. I would say that of all the times I have ever gotten my hair highlighted, he has been the best. Friendly, but not worth the high prices – I went to try and get a hair cut when my regular salon was too busy and I needed somethign in an emergency. Proces were way too high and parking is impossible. I also had to get my nails done and wanted tips. They only offer Gel tips and they wanted 75.00 for them, I slurged but ended up calling to complain because after just 4 days they started falling off, they re did them for free, but still only lasted a few days.
