So the apartments are on the expensive side and don’t include water, parking, sewer, or trash; but the complex is really nice. The units aren’t cookie cutter, many have garages, the complex is well kept, the gym is better than most, and the pool is hoppin’! Great place for Yuppies. The office and maintenance teams aren’t really great. Specifically I’d like to acknowledge Britt, Kim, Ludwig, and Jose. Thanks guys.

Very well maintained, with responsive managers Zurich, Kimberley and Jenn, and they make a lot of effort to ensure residents are happy. Yesterday was the 4th of July pool party, and it was a lot of fun.
Do not rent here! Terrible management! I had to break my lease because I bought a house. Therefore I talked to the management and they confirmed in writing that they would waive the penalty for break lease if I find somebody to take over the lease. I actually found somebody but they won’t keep the promise. Penalty is paid and they won’t refund. Just check other reviews it’s all said, pool area gets full of garbage from non residents, homeless on complex, no security at all, leasing office employees unfriendly and not willing... read more
Capitol Yards residents have a free transit pass program for commuting on Sacramento Regional Transit and Yolobus. There is even a new program called VIA (available as an app) that offers on-demand transport services for a flat fee in West Sacramento. It is like a cross between Uber service and transit. There is no need to own a vehicle when you live at Capitol Yards because public bike share resources are directly across the street from CY.
