I purchased a 2003 Volkswagen Passat a few months ago from Capital City Auto Sales. I was told that nothing was wrong or needed to be fixed. I realize buying a used car always involves some needed fixes. The next day, the check engine light came on, indicating a vacuum leak and bad catalytic converters. There is no way that the dealer hadn't been aware of the check engine light, having obviously simply reset the computer. They refused to do anything to rectify the situation or offer any concession.
