Dr. Hogensen was pompous and rude. He asked me questions about my symptoms, told me what I likely had, then said the medication isn't worth the side affects. He gave me his 2 minutes of time, then didn't stay to explain my condition. He didn't help me at all and didn't offer any suggestions to help my symptoms. I would NEVER see this "doctor" again.
Wife went in because she’s had a sore throat for over a week. Not sure how many days exactly but we know it’s been a week. Yet, Dr. Butaud refused to strep test her because it hasn’t been 10 days so sent her home without any test, & anything prescribed. Had to pay co-pay, & we’ll have to pay it again in a couple days when it doesn’t clear, & we can actually go get her tested. I am highly disappointed with this clinic. I cannot tell you how many bad experiences I have had when i have come here. The first few were bad, but my last experience pushed me over the edge where I WILL NEVER return here again, and will tell everyone I know not to go here. I have only been impressed by 2 dr's here and the one i will continue going to is Dr Wesley Bott. He has caught everything none of the other dr's have caught. This has been the worst Doctor's office that I have ever been to. My wife went in for strep throat and the doctor was unable to determine what was actually going on and needed to send some samples off. He said he would call my wife on Monday. Monday came and went and nothing was heard from the office. Frustrated we went else where and guess what.... she was treated for strep and within a few days was filling better. We love Spanish Fork pediatrics. We see Dr. Paxton and he is amazing to work with. We have been going for 7 years. My son has ADD and he has worked with us so well. If I send a message through patient portal, I get a personal response usually within a few hours. The front desk is great and we never have to wait more than 5 minutes. If we need a same day appointment, we usually can get in within a few hours. I highly recommend him!
