Great sleep, quiet, and excellent location. One concern - if guests forget a toothbrush, please just supply it and don't make them buy one at the gift shop. Otherwise, no concerns and would stay again!
no breakfast, no shuttle service, no room service, only get maid service if your there 8 days or more, room rates are different daily, no smoking, people are friendly and helpful. rooms and hotel and outside are clean. no bugs

We always put our clients up at the Candlewood Suites Detroit-Troy when they're visiting in the Detroit Area. Super convenient to our office, Downtown Detroit, shopping, parks, and many restaurants, there's no better place to stay. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful 24/7. Our clients really enjoy the layout of the suites that include living areas, nice sized kitchens, and the bathroom and bedroom areas are separate. Actually Candlewood Suites Detroit-Troy is the second hotel during my trip in NA. Although just stayed two days, the feeling was excellent. The room is large and every thing is clear and placed in order. Kitchen fittings are also included, you can do some cook on induction cooker or microwave oven. And it's near Somerset Collection center, nice shopping place. So it's a pretty nice choice to choose this hotel and I'd like to recommend it to my friends.
We recently stayed at Candlewood in Troy from 8/6 to 8/11. We were very pleased with our stay. The room is clean and spacious (we had a deluxe suite). The bed is clean and comfortable. The sofa bed is useful. My wife can watch the 2016 Olympic while lying down. It's very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They allow us to check in before 3pm so we can rest after a long red-eye flight. Overall we will definitely come back next time we visit Troy. We had a great and comfortable stay at Candlewood Suites Detroit-Troy. After a long road trip it was great to be able to have an early check-in and begin to relax. Our room was clean and nice and all our needs were met.
