Candle Cafe in Venice............rip off! – I am not a complainer, on the contrary. I have been a waitress and I understand the job, but... I am compelled to review this place. Cafe I love this place. The food could be better but what a great place to sit and have a drink and people watch with friends. It is in a prime Venice area so there is always a lot of activity going on. Plus it gets packed so expect to wait a bit for a table.

the biggest disappointment on the beach – i had the worst experience here. i wanted to stop in for a quick bite on the way to another event, but my nachos (yes, nachos) took almost a full HOUR to be brought to me...the waitress kept passing my table with full meals and ignoring me. after about a half hour, i asked what the hold-up was and she got embarrased and said she forgot to put in the order. i waited another half hour for the worst nachos i'd ever had and then had to GO INTO the restaurant to get my bill , bc she never... read more
