Food is amazing!! Wish I could have the chef as my personal cook!
If every business was operated this way there would never be a negative review or complaint. Besides the food being outstanding, the staff. Omg, the staff. I spent the better part of my trip at this location and lunch at the 79th St location my first day in NY. They made me feel like a regular local immediately. I only have eyes for Candles! Eat here! You’ll thank me.
My family and I ate here yesterday (two vegetarians and I'm vegan), we loved the food- we tried the southern plate and Beyond Burger, plus a small sweet potato pie for dessert. Lot of fantastic Vegan options, it was hard to pick just one! Service was great, price/ space were about what you would expect in NYC. Excellent vibe in general, clean, and they kept refilling our water which was awesome. They also have several cookbooks for their place- I will definitely be looking for one!
Yum!! if your looking for absolutely delicious vegan food with very friendly and professional staff, you’ll LOVE this place! What a divine establishment.
The Aztec Salad (especially the chipotle grilled tempeh) and the Pomegranate Sorbet were delicious!
Everything we had was great and Abby, our server, was very attentive.
This place is outstanding! The food, the service....EVERYTHING....all around fabulous!!!! Darius, Kevin and J.R. Are incredible! Don't miss out! Go when you can!
The sweet potato lasagna is to die for. Love this restaurant.
