The food was very good , and I felt filled up. I especially enjoyed the mezze plate and the finding/ lemon tea. The coconut, soy blend ice cream was delicious. My sister is mostly a vegan , and can be difficult to find a restaurant that pleases her. The wait staff was very nice.
Enjoyed my dinner. I had the Spring Vegetable Paella, my cousin had the Indian plate. Food was tasty and very appealing visually. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and kind.
Delicious! Had the Mediterranean wrap, buffalo cauliflower bites and blood orange sorbet for dessert. Great service also. A definite when you're in the city.
Been eating here since they opened - over 20 something years. Consistently delicious fresh and yummy! I moved out of NYC ten years ago and still eat here every time I am on the UES (once or twice a month) I love the new decor and cool vibe music playlists. I love how mainstream eating vegan food has come and that I pretty much have been eating this way for 30 years.. Candle Cafe remains the top & I loved my meal yesterday ..
Simply the best ! Been around the longest , and have perfected a large options of vegan friendly food .
Loved my salad but wish they had more salad dressing options without added sweetener!
