This place looks very well kept but the roaches were constant issue. This is also deff NOT the place for you if you dont want to pay unnecessary charges and be dismissed rudely everytime you try to bring up a concern to the admin. Needs better admin. I lived there for a 2 years. Had to pay for 6 months even after i had already turned the key in and Wanda (manager at the time) dismissed me rudely multiple times when I tried to resolve the issue. I’ve been living at Abbey West for two years and I LOVE IT. I like the convenience of living in the middle of Athens so you can get to campus, the oconee connector, or just jump on the loop and get wherever with it taking less than 15 minutes anytime your on the road! Of course there’s going to be a few little issues with any complex, but if you let maintenance know, they’re always super quick to fix the problem. This place sucks. Do yourself a favor and don’t live here. Message me if you want to know all the horrible things they put me and my family through.
Was treated terrible when I lived here. One of the roommates they matched me with moved her entire family in (from Africa) two months before she graduated. They stayed the entire time. I was told I was able to bring my pet with me and paid all fees only to have them demand it not be living there within days or there would be a fine. If you are a parent or looking for student housing please look elsewhere in Athens. Just buy a condo for under $50,000 you'll thank me later.
I have no idea what other people talking about. The management was always helpful and kind. The utilities were reasonably charged according to the usage. Furnitures are great and clean compared to other places. Gym has great facility and the pool is cleaned everyday, too! I would definitely live here if I come back this city
