Purchased a brand new 2021 Keystone Passport 219BH back in November for a family Christmas present. We would like to register a complaint against Camping World, ******, ********. If we could give a ZERO for customer service we would! We took our 5th wheel in for warranty work and service on July 13, 2021 and finally got it back on February 19, 2022. It took over a month before they submitted a request for warranty work. I have a dometic toilet in my travel trailer and learned that they are a manufacturer defect and camping world will do nothing about it to get it fixed. I am not mobile with it. I have been told by dometic it's a defect.. but no one will fix the problem with it leaking I have an extended warranty on it to. Bad business.
Purchased advertised new 2022 Jayfeather Micro 171BH from the Camping World ************ ****** dealership on February 9, 2022. Identified after purchasing the trailer and towing it home to our ********, ********** home that the rear bumper was damaged. More specifically, noticed from viewing the rear of the trailer from a distance that a section of the rear bumper was pushed inward. First of all, if there were negative stars I would choose them. The issues first started in July of 2021 when the front slide out got stuck. The batteries were hooked up incorrectly, the lights were not working, and more. Took it to the ************* location, where I bought it. I was told in September it was fixed. My *********** went to look at campers & found one. We sit down with our sales ******** had us fill out paperwork. They came back with pricing & monthly costs, we agreed to the prices. They had us sign paperwork that we were purchasing the camper & put Good *** on the phone wanting us to get insurance for it. They also had my husband sign a sold sign to put on the camper. The sales staff was great but the service is beyond horrible. They cant complete repairs and the work they do complete is shoddy at best. We have a Keystone Cougar 368mbi and one of the issues is the ****** feature doesnt work. It never has worked. ********************* the service advisor said they couldnt fix it because since they dont have cable they dont have any way of diagnosing the problem. Our experience with the sales department was okay with the exception of being told right before we picked up our brand new unit that they made a mistake on the *** on loan paperwork. They asked us to take the unit corresponding to the *** on the loan to avoid doing the loan over. Supposedly the only difference was the interior color scheme, so we were okay with it. This place is a joke, and stupid too. My son bought a 16 foot travel trailer one year ago and wanted to upgrade. He went to Camping World and they made a deal for a new travel trailer, trading in the used one and writing a significant check. Next day they called and reneged on the deal, said they needed another $1000. My son was going to upgrade again in a year or two. They will lose a lot more than a silly $1000.
