There are not too many places where you can get kimchi and omelets on the same menu, but the Cameo Cafe is just that kind of place. Its location is prime, in the middle of the humming Northeast Sandy Boulevard, and its food has won much acclaim from local media and diners alike. Traditional breakfast fare includes eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and omelets, alongside Korean specialties like the kimchi hash with hash browns, eggs, kimchi and bacon, and egg pancakes so large they spill over the brim of your plate. BEST BREAKFAST IN THE AREA – Too bad the last people left that's probably why I was able to get a table! Go there !!~
So bad i left before ordering! – I go out and try many different breakfast places and Cameo Cafe on Sandy is by far the worst yet. Well, I guess I can't speak for the food because we left before we ordered. The waitress was downright forceful in trying to make us order. She kept hitting me on my leg with the menu and telling me to order something. It was like a bad movie. She also was complaining to us at 7am that she was tired of getting up at 4am. We paid for our coffee and quickly got out of there. Absolutely the worst se... read more
WOW – ost people dont know what's best at Cameo because people just go there for traditional American Breakfast. If you are adventures, you should try their SALADS, especially BBQ beef salad. You will be amazed how fulfilling it is. I am not really into pancakes, eggs and bacons in the morning. Its just greasy and heavy. If you are like me, you will love their salads. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
Service is WOW! – The owner is so incredibly friendly, and the wait staff is very attentive although three different people asked us for our order. The raspberry waffle was good, but they should use a higher quality whipped cream than the Ready-Whip stuff. There's real maple syrup at the table. The Korean beef was unique and hearty, but a bit of a vegetable overload. I'll definitely go back and try other items, which should result in a higher rating.
Lively little eatery! – The supreme breakfast spot! Their menu is LOADED with breakfast ideas, EVERYTHING, even non-traditional breakfast items. The menu alone is sure to impress every taste there is! May I suggest the Blazer Omelette, Acre blueberry pancake, Long-life soup, or Bul-go-gee and but always the Strong bread with a loaf TO-GO? The daily specials are special indeed for when you can't make up your mind they're sure to help, even when you are in the mood for something new.
