During the week the apartment complex is very clean. But from Friday night til Monday morning it's all trashed up. People drinking and leaving beer bottles everywhere broken. Hallway with trash at people doors.
Staff is very attentive and polite (particularly Chris and Shelbi); common areas are always very clean; apartments themselves are wonderfully designed and well kempt; walkable entertainment and great restaurants. A nice, quiet yet lively place to live in the downtown Dallas area.
I've lived at Camden Design District for a little over two months now and absolutely love it here. Chris and Lorna have been super helpful and friendly with everything that I have needed. The amenities are great (pool, gym, business center, club house, dog park). The neighborhood is safe and offers a lot of local new restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend!
I've lived at Camden Design District for almost 4 years. It's an awesome community, however the changes to the mail system last year are a hassle. The office no longer holds packages, so if you aren't home when your package is delivered, then you have to drive out to the Post Office on Norwood Rd (only open Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm). That's my only complaint. The maintenance staff is fast, thorough and friendly. They take care of reported issues almost immediately. I'd recommend living here!
I have been very happy here at Camden Design District. I think you get a very high quality apartment for a very fair price. The managers and staff are friendly and engaged and committed to making sure their tenants are taken care of. There are community gatherings and fun events. The pool is gorgeous and the maintenance staff are amazing! I just extended my lease because I am so happy being here and I want to continue living here :) -Kelly B.
Although I love the Camden complex, I didn't factor in the time and gas money it takes now to go pick up my packages from USPS, FedEx and UPS. When signing a lease a part of the perks were that we were allowed to get packages delivered, unfortunately this was taken away without even surveying the residents that actually live here.
We live at Camden Design District now and it's great. We are close to lots of different wonderful food and the convenience to Downtown Dallas is awesome. The staff are great and the maintenance team is amazing. Whenever we put in work requests, they get completed almost always the same day! We've been looking at a few sister communities recently and are really seeing some great things.
