I would give Dr. Ngai 10 stars if I could. He is smart, caring and focused. He was able to explain the complex functions of the heart in very simple terms, helping me understand with visual aids as well. He listens attentively, and engages meaningfully. His advice for treatment was not too aggressive nor too conservative - a good balance given my age and lifestyle. Dr. Calvin Ngai and his staff are so professional, cordial and extremely top notch. My mom was hospitalized at Northwell and we decided to see a Northwell physician for continuity since they did all the testing at the hospital- and Dr. Ngai had access to all that information. First off, he is extremely fluent in Cantonese (he’s from HK) but his Mandarin is also very good.
