Please DO NOT come to Calvary hospital because you will not been seen for hours and hours and you will pay as a private patient. I came with an ambulance complaining of chest pain and high blood pressure. They should have not accepted any new patients if they couldn’t cope but they accepted me and didn’t do anything for hours and hours amd hours
Mary MacKillop ward was terrible. Putrid staff, lazy, no communication, worst meals. They made me walk across the road at 3am in an open gown to get medication by myself in the rain. The only good nurse was the one that was there from an agency.
This hospital is terrible. There's no parking, and the elevators are always full, so you wait for more than half an hour. I had surgery today at 10:30 AM, and they asked me to come a little earlier for paperwork. I finished everything, put on my surgical gown, and went without food or drink for the procedure. They made me wait from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM. All this time, I kept asking when it was my turn, and they kept telling me it was after the next patient. This made me anxious the whole time I waited. my husband was taken there in emergency and wow was seen to asap staff are absolutely amazing as are the Doctors..
It’s wasn’t my day when my dress sleeves were cut and then few minutes the nurse come with a gown, in the ED, doctor couldn’t find my vain yet telling them I haven’t eaten and need ultrasound machine. After a few shouts I becoming a pin cushion the ultrasound machine come out and got a vain. Managed to get one bottle via drip. Then the drip was changed over. New nurse! Puts pressure cup over drip and walked off. Pressure cup starts to blow up and blocks my needle with drip. I had enough and what to go home. Hubby is called a... read more
