Came to ED with my elderly mother who had a resistant infection with delirium. Symptoms were intermittent and had disappeared again by the time we arrived, so all cheers to the tired, overstressed doctor who was prepared to check a previous test and admit her on the basis of that. Our experience of this hospital has been beyond terrible. Terrible communication, rude staff. We are so fortunate that thank god, we managed to find 2 EXCELLENT staff or my partners surgery would have been cancelled due to the absolute inability of the hospital to communicate with THEIR OWN departments. I would never recommend attending this hospital. Im giving it 1 star because there's no lower rating available.
I recently visited the emergency department at Calvary Adelaide Hospital and received exceptional care. Nurse Lily and Dr. Koh were incredibly patient, professional, and genuinely caring. They took the time to listen, explained everything clearly, and truly stood by my side to help me through a difficult moment. Their kindness and empathy made me feel safe and respected as a patient. I’m very grateful for their outstanding service and the compassion they showed. Highly recommend this hospital and their amazing staff!
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the conduct of a doctor who caused my wife significant emotional distress during a recent hospital visit. On 22/10/2025, we attended CALVARY ADELAIDE as private patients for evaluation of my wife’s mildly elevated heart test results. The subsequent tests came back normal, confirming there was no immediate concern.
