RecommendedCalm Center is a fantastic resource available to our youth in Tulsa. I can't recommend it enough! As a mother, I was reluctant to seek help for my teenager but after a recommendation from our therapist I was given a guided tour and invited with open arms. The staff is highly dedicated, respectful and available to answer any questions. the staff is great but the doctor has to go. she took my kid off her meds. argued with me on the phone over it. this is a suppose to be a safe place for kids but if you are yanking them off their meds it great in a controlled environment that you have there but does them no good outside you facility. I have a med doctor for her thanks. she is supposed to be getting help with her calming skills. big fat no stars. The Calm Center has literally saved my child's life. We are so blessed to have a program of this magnitude in our area.
I loved it it was great everything about it was great I still love my nick name from the people I met there (Baby M) I still remember little Jake and walker and Beth or Elizabeth she was awesome they all were every single one of them I miss them so much
its like beinging in jail the staff are rude and make fun of the kids i feel so bad my child had to deal with this i put this out here bc i dont want another child to have to go through what mine did the dr made this place out like a calming place like a spa omg i have my special needs childs room set up like that please dont send your child there it will hurt them
