Got appt. on waiting list at 8am for 3838 office. Great staff, little wait for Dr. took time to review x-rays, did physical tests and answered questions. Scheduled treatment near me.
He is an expert and experienced professional. He know how to treat your back.
Dr Callander was friendly, warm and a good listener,. as was the entire office staff. When I contacted the orthopedic practice, where I had prior hip surgeries, they were not able to provide a surgeon to consult with skilled in hip implant revision. Dr C is very experienced in complicated hip and knee issues, including implant revision and replacement. Dr. Callander reviewed my medical history, ordered some X-rays of my swollen right knee, and developed a treatment plan to address the discomfort and inflexibility in my knee. He was able to drain the fluid and inject a steroid into the area and I am walking much better now. I'm out of pain for the first time in 10+ years and it's all because of Dr. Callender. If you remember one thing in looking for a surgeon, remember the 3 key words: skill, skill, skill. When you're in surgery, the most important thing in your life is how skilled the surgeon is. If you choose Dr. Callender for hip surgery, you've taken care of the most important thing. Dr C explains things very thoroughly and carefully. My hip and knee replacements were easy and very successful.
Very thorough examination and thoughtful discussion about options, possible complications, and timeline of expected recovery. Excellent follow up about physical therapy. Importantly for me he treated me as a patient and did not assume I was more knowledgeable than anyone else even though I am a physician. Excellent bedside manner.
