Just had a bad experience at this place. Went in just now (8am on a weekday) to grab a breakfast pastry in the downtown area. Was holding my 5 lb pup and was told immediately they cannot have a dog in the place. I said I just wanted a quick grab and pay and wasn’t even going to put her down but they were so not nice about it. She’s a Pomeranian pup that everyone loves, doesn’t bark, and acts as my emotional support. Unfriendly, sarcastic and resentful towards us because we had continental breakfast cards from the lodging we are staying at. We were told “it’s magic... $13 worth of free food.” Totally negative experience that ensures we will never come back here. As if the guy was having a premeditated conversation with an unhappy customer who was not unhappy at all...All because they are unhappy with the agreement they have with a local motor lodge? Delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Love the blt on sourdough and their macaroons. Good lattes. Friendly staff. It’s ‘the coffee that wakes up Napa valley’ so of course it’s great!
Cute pedestrian friendly town.
I only initially went in because the Spurs signage made me curious, had the added bonus of a good chat with the owner and a great iced-coffee to boot.
Skip the Chef's Salad unless you're looking for a giant plate of processed ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese. DO have a cookie or four, the peanut butter cookies are magical.
