RecommendedEverybody there is amazing! Dr. Ogilvie prescribed meds for my dog who has been suffering with grand mal seizures for years and his seizures have STOPPED! not one in 5 months! Maggie, Desiree, and Miranda are Angels!! I highly recommend them!
The medical staff here is extraordinary. They are caring and make every attempt to keep you informed. All but one of the reception staff was welcoming and efficient. I would highly recommend these wonderful veterinary specialists.

Today was my first time here and I can’t express my deepest gratitude! I woke up this morning to find my dog paralyzed on both front legs, i was greeted by Ryan who rushed Foxy back and checked me in. She showed 100% professionalism and compassion. We'd like to express a special thank you to Dr Kristina Welsh and the wonderful staff and technicians at California Veterinary Specialists in Carlsbad. Dr Welsh performed emergency surgery on Nicholas, our 15-year-old corgi, very early this morning. She is not only an excellent veterinarian, but was also very kind, caring, and compassionate with all of us. She was only concerned with what was best for our sweet boy. We are so grateful to Dr Welsh and our friends at California Veterinary Specialists.
