RecommendedWhen we brought our 16 y/o dog to be seen in the middle of the night the staff was so caring and kind. We ended up making the difficult decision to put our dog down, as she was in heart failure, and the support and compassion we felt from the doctor and nurses was amazing. They made a really tough time a little bit easier for us. We are grateful.
Excellent place to work. Many opportunities for advancement. 4 days a week 10 1/2 hour shifts. Choose a specialty department, if you don't like it, they work with you. Salary & performance reviews every year. Roth, 401K, HSA, paid vacation paid CE. Numerous long term employees will tell you something.
The last couple of times I took my two different cats for emergencies were not confidence inspiring. I left without treatment both times. I won't be back.

Dr. Benedict at the Carlsbad location has been an AMAZING help to me and my dog. Her care for the animals and knowledge is only exceeded by her care and attentiveness to the owners of the animals under her care. Without hesitation, if you have an animal in need of a good internal medicine veterinarian, I strongly recommend that you schedule an appointment with Dr. Benedict. We brought our Dino to see Dr Proulx for his meningioma. We had to travel from Las Vegas and from the minute we walked in, we knew that we were in the right and best place for his treatment. I cannot say enough how incredible our experience has been. We had to leave him there for the week of his treatment and we always received daily updates and they were very kind when we called them. A huge thank you from Dino and his family.
Two weeks ago my beloved cat Whiskers had to be euthanized after three weeks of a valiant battle to save his life. I couldn't have wished for any better treatment for my poor kitty. The doctors and staff at the Murrieta location were skilled and loving in their care of Whiskers, but we ran out of options. Thank you to all who took care of him in his last weeks, especially Drs.
