I have been here a handful of times and thoroughly enjoyed the experience each time. Delicious food, quick service, and overall friendly staff. Some of the best sushi I've had in Rochester!
The last few times have been so slow (without a crowd) that it seems like they are trying to make us not come again. In this, they've suceeded. I hate it, because the food is good.
Food is good but I don't think you could be any slower in regards to service. Literally 20 people in the restaurant and it has been over an hour. Third time here ...but the same issue. Not sure why either.

I live in the Ithaca area, but we love Rochester! Our favorite lunch spot is California Rollin, we come at least once a month. The sushi is great and always fresh, love the volcano, bling, and bam rolls!!!! People do need to realize it's made to order and if it's busy it does take time to make! The Goodman St. location is our favorite spot, the staff is very nice and the place is always clean!
