Worst service ever! Don't eat here! Would never recommend
Normally thankful to be out and served, but California Rollin' Inc. Hands down worst service I've ever received on a night out for dinner. The staff was stand off'ish and completely rude if we asked for a drink in our hour and fifteen minute wait for sushi, not to mention it was not that busy since there were empty tables. They forgot about us!!! The server 'misplaced' our order. I understand on a busy night accidents happen. We resubmitted a new order and the original server continued to ignore us. She wouldn't even come over to our table after her mishap. We ended up standing up from our table and walking right out!! Of course unnoticed by the staff. We walked over to Gatehouse and was immediately waited on.
California rollin, village gate is usually a hit or miss.. We've had good sushi and not so good.. They just recently added new rolls to the menu.
Terrible service. Seated at bar, ordered drinks, waitress had to come back twice to ask what we ordered because she forgot. Finally got drinks, ordered food and then sushi came and they forgot soup we ordered. Had to ask for chop sticks and bowls for soy sauce. Finally got chop sticks - had to get our own soy sauce bowls. The only thing they got right was reminding us about everything the Groupon didn't include. It's no wonder they are selling Groupons 60% off. Staff seems miserable too. One of the best sushi restaurants in the upstate area.
We love california rollin inc in the village gate even when we go out of town we miss it there we have gotten spoiled there we was there when there was father daughter and son
Food is always amazing and I love the atmosphere and the people that work there!! Great place to eat!
