My waitress claimed to have worked there for years however, see didn't even know that Shirley Temples did not have refills even after I had asked point blank. She was sooooo busy with the child at the bar that we had to wave our hands to get her attention. Want a good burger - go SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! – We were hungry and just driving through Mt. Hood's beautiful scenery - saw an inviting exterior saying they specialize in burgers. The MOST AWFUL BURGERS we have ever eaten - EVER!!! worth the trip! – I had been hearing great things about this place for years, and last week I finally made the trip out with a couple of friends. And all I can say is, wow, it was easily worth the drive. Calamity Janes is Awesome Food at halfway decent prices for what you get! We ordered the halibut fish and chips.The fries are real fresh potatoes (house fry's.) We also ordered hot choc.(Really good) .Besides too much salt, on the fries(order yours without salt), the onion rings were also fresh and tasty! Fish was fresher last visit. A family favorite I can't say enough about the enormous and enormously good hamburgers from Calamity Jane's. Our family loves to stop in for the great atmosphere and burgers, and our kids love the frozen mugs of root beer. Bring your appetite because you won't eat for days if you can finish one of the burgers here.
The bigest beers Oh my gosh, they have the biggest mug of beer you can drink! The burgers are teriffic becaude they have so many different kinds. We went there with my daughters softball team and and the girls enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.
Fun place Huge hamburgers of every variety you can imagine. They have a salad bar too and huge milk shakes. Share one with a friend. It is a fun place to visit.
