When my friend and I walked in we waited for 5 minutes and finally had to ask if we could get gelato even though there were a few employees standing around. My friend and I went to get gelato using my $10 gift certificate that I won at the 5K, only to find out it was for table service only. When we got our double scoops mine was so small and her double was even smaller. We went to pay and were charged $4.99 instead of $3.99. Caffe Gelato is a great spot for lunch with girlfriends. I've done Mondays with friends and really enjoyed the $6 salads. Of course, after a salad, you don't feel guilty splurging on gelato. Hard to pick a favorite flavor, they are all good! I've also done the $6 paninis on Thursdays with friends. Their lunch specials are a great deal! They validate parking and service has always been friendly and professional! If you're wanting to impress company from out of town, go to Caffe Gelato!

I brought my parents and my two sisters in when I was moving apartments. The server was phenomenal! And Carmen was delightful. I was seated quickly and my food was delicious. I highly recommend the lobster gnocchi. It was a nice atmosphere to catch up with my family over some good Italian food! Will definitely return.
My family and I went to Gaffe Gelato on a Saturday. We arrived at 10 am. We were asked to wait so they could see if the kitchen was ready. As we were waiting another employee told us that the restaurant was not open yet though the sign on the door stated they opened at 10 am on Saturday. Finally we were seated but told that our waiter was still getting ready. I came in to eat with my parents when they were visiting me at UD. I ordered the Mare e Monti which was really good. I had asked for the steak medium rare, and it came out perfect. Our server was very attentive. He continually refilled our drinks and made sure that we were okay all throughout the dinner. My parents were impressed and we definitely will dine here again the next time they visit!
