One of my favorite places to go always
beignets, beignets, beignets. cash only!
You know, I wasn't even that excited to try them but the beignets here may be the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life.
Go to one in Riverwalk mall. They take plastic & are polite.
The rude waiter after midnite gave me signs to vacate when I finished. I ignored him. I was counting coins as it is cash only. He threw a nickel at me. He said he didn't want my tip. I over counted.
Beignets are better than the ones in France & the servers are as rude..
If you are in New Orleans you really should go here for beignets and coffee. Dipping the beignets in your coffee is the way to go.
The busiest coffee shop in the world an totally worth it!
The tables are seat-yourself, or get some at the to-go window. Either way, you'll need cash and no shame, as you'll soon be covered in powdered sugar.
