The Cafe Au Lait and beignets are great after a heavy night on Burbon Street! They're open 24hrs! Goth kids beware... fucking powdered sugar gets EVERYWHERE...
Worst service ever. It took about 10 min for them to clear the table and another 10 to take our order
Beignets tastes very much like a common Chinese breakfast food (油条), except that we coat them with salt, not sugar.
The take-out line around back is much shorter and quicker. Consider adding a cafe au lait to your order or even a Cafe Du Monde ceramic mug as a souvineer.
It was good. Definitely an experience. Cafe au laite was decent. Beignets were decent as well. I'd give it a 3 out of 5.
Get the beignets and hot chocolate. Nothing beats that!
Tables are first come-first-serve. The people standing in line do not know what they are doing. Just walk in and sit down.
I think this would qualify as a tourist trap... Overcrowded, slow service, dirty and moderate beignets. Come but don't expect the best!
Soooo worth the wait. Don't forget your cash. No cards accepted.
