About this business

The Cafe Berlin restaurant has successfully modified Germany's traditionally heavy cuisine to delight patrons who enjoy lighter fare. Game is popular here, along with versatile fish and chicken offerings. German classics such as sauerbraten, Wiener schnitzel and spaetzle are also available. Dessert is a tempting treat: homemade confections -- delicious cheesecakes, tortes and custard cakes - have a way of making you forget your diet. Valet service is available during dinner.

Came for a birthday dinner. Great food and cozy atmosphere. Must try the housemade mustard with the pretzel appetizer.

My husband and I had reservations on Friday night--it was quite busy so service was a touch slow to start. This was hardly an issue because the food was so incredibly good. This has become our German food go-to.

Another wonderful meal at Cafe Berlin! Everything was perfect. The seasonal vegetable when we went 9/28 was Brussels Sprouts. This elicited a groan from my husband and kids, however each had at least one bite and the kids loved them! You know it's magic when a chef can get kids to eat Brussels sprouts!!

Business response:

Thank you for your kind words!

The beer selection is very good and fresh. The potato pancakes are light and delicious. But the moment of truth that sends this restaurant to the top is the large and perfect assortment of excellent desserts.

I highly recommend!! The beer was so unbelievably satisfying. Konig Ludwig Hefeweiben: light wheat with citrus, banana and clove. Get the Sauerkraut Balls!! All the schnitzels are excellent. The Sauerbraten was tasty at first but as you chew it it dries out and becomes fibrous. And do get the different spatzles they offer. Service was excellent!

Came to try, ate, then scheduled a return trip for dinner. This was the best home-made German food we've eaten in years!
