Set up an appointment online through UPMC app. Called to confirm the appointment a few days later for my husband and myself and sat on hold for 7 minutes. Another person got on the phone and said the Dr is not accepting new patients when the UPMC app clearly states that he is and takes my insurance. I contacted UPMC and they stated the same. So I have been with this practice for several years but haven’t visited because of a delay/issue with my health insurance (I have Medicaid). Anyways, I finally set up an appointment after a couple years of not going, due to those issues, but I accidentally missed it. I’m aware I should have put it in my calendar and been to the appointment so that is my fault completely. This stuff happens like all the time, right? People miss appointments.
