About this business

Located in a rather nondescript building, the C-Bar is a modern bar perfectly suited to start or end an evening out on town. The drink menu focuses on craft cocktails mixed with top-shelf liquors for delectable concoctions. In the summer months, smokers flock to the deck in back while those with laptops often sit out front, taking advantage of the free WiFi. Though appetizers and panini are available, many simply sip drinks while waiting for their names to be called for the tiny sushi bar next door. Kids are allowed in till ... read more

Where's the service? – Here was my experience at C-Bar on a recent Friday night: My wife and I arrive to meet a friend for after dinner drinks on my birthday. Seating at the bar is full, but there are a few tables to choose from, so we slide into a booth. We see a waitress bringing drinks to other tables, so we assume that someone will take our order momentarily. After at least 10 minutes of being ignored, my wife finally goes to the bar. Unable to see what was on tap, I told her to order me a bottle of Mirror Pond Pale Ale ... read more

Great for Waiting... – The C Bar is a great place to grab a drink while you wait for a tble next door at Yoko's. Not neccessarily the kind of place I would travel to go to but it's very convenient for what it is.

Great staff, great drinks, great vibe – I have been a customer at C-Bar dozens of times and have had nothing but professional, friendly service. The bartenders always make me feel at home and make great drink recommendations when I am looking to try something out-of-the-ordinary. The great service and the low-lit intimate vibe make this a perfect neighborhood spot to chill when I want to get away from the busy, loud bars.

If you want to get mad, go to C Bar – After a first time experience that was less than stellar due to lazy service (the place was NOT busy) we decided to give it another chance with friends. WOW was that a mistake! The server (blond girl in pigtails) was initially unresponsive, and then just rude. Our friends showed up, we had to flag her down for them to order one drink. When she brought them out, she bolted so fast we had no time to ask for any food, even though we had initially told her we wanted to order when our drinks ... read more

Cheerful Atmosphere!!!! – We went to Yoko's for the first time last Tuesday evening and enjoyed a cocktail at C Bar while we waited. The bartender that night, Valerie, was such a sweetheart. She recommended the house cocktails, which were delicious, and took the time to give us many suggestions for things to do in the neighborhood (we just moved in). C Bar has a fabulous cocktail list and atmosphere. We will certainly be back often. Thanks Valerie, and the rest of C Bar staff, for the warm welcome! Cheers!

learn the law people – obviously, some people don't get out much. In Oregon bartenders are DIRECTLY liable for anything that happens to anyone who drinks at their bar, regardless of age. If a bartender fails to card you, even if you are 50 years old, and then you drink and drive, that bartender is held responsible. They can have their OLCC license revoked, lose their job and ability to get another one, and potentially be sued as a 3rd party for an damages done by the drunk driver, including injury or fatalities of other peop... read more

Unbelievably rude staff – I went to this bar with my wife and sister-in-law while waiting for a table at Yoko's restaurant next door. The bartender was a total byatch to us. First, we asked about the happy hour. Even though it was only 6:25, and the happy hour ends at 6:30, she said no way. She pointed us to their bar clock, which was 15 minutes fast. She even admitted it was 15 minutes fast, but still said no on the happy hour. Why not just be honest, set the clock properly, and have the happy hour end at 6:15? Then, my sis... read more

Do not go – I was there with davvvyjooones and four other friends, and the bartender wasn't a "little rude"...she was a total B*tch. She just stood behind the bar yapping her mouth to the 3 regulars at the bar while we waited, and waited, and waited. When I finally tried to nicely interject to place an order, the @%*! bit my head off for interrupting. How does this place even stay in business?
