We moved my mom into Byron Manor and could immediately tell that the staff was compassionate and caring. One time a staff member was so empathetic that she cried in the hallway with me. One of the staff members told me that she does her job with all her heart, and you can tell! She was always so kind and caring. If I ever had a concern or question, the staff would do their best to help. Byron Manor is my work field for the past 6 years. I have never seen and experienced a management team that loves the resident and staff they way we do. We embrace the families of our residents just as we do their loved ones. and are eager to make life a lot more meaningful for our residents. . It is The Best work place and the best place for your loved ones, by far.
My mother spent time in both independent living and memory care at Byron Manor. I can’t say enough good about this facility. The love and care to not only my mom but myself was astounding! Mom always had someone checking in on her in the memory care. They hugged her and loved on her. They cleaned up after her and laughed with her. Not one staff that I met was unpleasant or unloving. I would not recommend working for this location, as well as trusting this facility with a loved one. This building has spiteful employees and managers. The residents are in a hostile space with employees that do not get along enough to work together to provide quality care. This facility has people that cannot speak, understand or read english pass medications which is very dangerous. Staff should know be able to read comprehend medical orders and other documents.
