We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. We've been voted the best seafood in town. We serve hot boiled crawfish and fresh oysters on the half shell when they're in season. After a 30 minute wait....another 40 minute wait for our food....we finally got our food which was cold. My blackened catfish looked like it was cooked on the dirtest part of the grlll with no spices at all. Seriously. The waiter offered to take our food back.....however, we've seen Waiting the movie. I didnt eat mine at all and the guy didnt even offer to take it off! I guess live and learn! Wont go back there ever! $34.00 wasted.
Usually love this place, yesterday we had to wait for and hour for a table. There was several empty tables but low on staff. The food took a long time to get, several plates were cold, had to have them reheat them. Felt bad for the waiter, he tried and was very attentive. Hope they can get there staff situation fixed. Not fair to the patrons.
Waited ten minutes for our drinks. Another 40 minutes on top of that for our food (and they weren't even that packed for a late Saturday night). My Philly Cheese Steak without onions came out with chicken and onions. Waited another 15 minutes for my food, for a total of an hour and a half and the food was FAR from the best I've ever had. The price sure reflected something good, but they didn't deliver that.

It was our first time here and it was okay. They had no one to bus tables other then their wait staff who were so busy it caused us to wait way too long to get seated. The food was great and so was the view but seriously they need to hire some one to bus their tables so the servers can tend to their guest.
The fourty five minute wait was understandable on a Saturday night. However the hour wait for cold over cooked poorly presented $18.99 Voodoo Tuna was not understandable. For a restaurant of your caliber you really should be serving fresh fish. The waiter was great and took it back but half an hour later still w/o our food we were told it was taking longer because it was frozen WTH When it did come out it was exactly the same cold and over cooked. The Cajun food was so good!! And my ribeye was cooked just right and very tasty!! My husband said they have THE BEST Bloody Mary he has ever had!! It was Cajun so had a little kick to it and with the extra flavor of the bacon infused vodka, it was awesome!! If you are able to sit outside in nice weather, it would be great as it is right on the Brazos river!! We were there right at sunset and it was beautiful!! We will definitely go back when we are in town!!
