We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. It was ok........the shrimp was really good and the Jambalaya pasta was good and a very healthy serving. The corn was tasty, I wasn't a fan of the rice but my friend liked it. Overall, ok.
I had one of the most disappointing meals tonight at Buzzard Billy's. I took a friend there and she agreed to go based on my recommendation. She ordered the catfish which was drastically undercooked. I eat everything rare/raw and even I thought it was bad. When I called the manager over and explained it, he acted like a big deal when he said he was taking it off of our ticket. Love the atmosphere here. Sitting out on the deck is wonderful. Our server Ashley was the best. The appetizer of alligator was delicious as was our entree. However, the hush puppies were burnt. When we got a replacement, it was burnt too. Other than that, it was great.

If I could give a zero, I would. We ordered drinks and tried to order food but there was so much attitude on just trying to order food and drinks was a a bother to the bartender who is family with the folks who run it. I'll NEVER be back!
