We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. If not for the Blackberry Pineapple Margarita this would have been a bad experience. Service crawled and the waiter was too inexperienced to be on his own. The gator tail & fries were ok. The atmosphere was decent but waitstaff were in chaos.....But that drink....�

Food & service was very good. Very noisy. Was hard to hear our waitress.

Ate there twice. First time crawfish etouffee. It was wonderful. Second time the Cajun Combo. The blackened catfish was great but the jambalaya lacked something and half was left on the plate.
Great dinner. Loved the catfish dinner. Will definately go again.
This weekend my family all met in Waco to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were looking forward to a good dinner on the river at Buzzard Billy's after a long day of celebrations. We called on Thursday and spoke to a hostess to make a reservation for Friday night and she took the reservation for us on the patio, even saying that she had cleared it with her manager. Swamp platter and fried pickles were good but kinda skimpy for the price.
