For an Iorn Chef's restaurant I was VERY disappointed. The food was very expensive for not being anything special. The worst part was the service and care that we felt as coustemers. We kept have to ask for plates, no one came to check if our food was ok after we got out main course, and the bathrooms were dirty. I adore Alex Guarnaschelli and have always wanted to go to BUTTER when in NYC. It did not disappoint! The service was top notch and the food was fit for a foodie. My boyfriend and I agreed that the Butter Burger was the best burger we've ever had! The delicious mix of ground chuck and brisket made the burger itself incredible, but the bacon jam put it over the top. Excellent cocktails. Mindful and courteous service. Outstanding food, and the beignets should be illegal they are so good.
I LOVED the "atmosphere " and "ambiance"! Food was delicious but menu was way way overpriced. We spent $200.00 and left hungry. Our waitress was from Albania and was wonderful! She embodies the spirit of NYC. I don't regret going because our drinks were fabulous!
Disappointed!! Love you Alex but the brunch needs attention! The room was very hot so hard to enjoy anything. Service was mediocre. The buffet was only half stocked so had keep going back to check to see if anything had been brought out. We checked 4 times for the salmon and when we finslly got some is was soaked vinegar. Never did get my coffee refill.
We stopped in after a show and Butter exceeded my expectations. Service was spot on. Every bite from appetizer through desert was interesting and just popped. I can't wait to go back.
