Great food, stick with the mild bbq sauce. Tri tip is tender and chicken was good. Can’t wait to try the shakes.
I’ve been going there a long time. Always look forward to a spicy tri-tip sandwich.

Good old fashioned meal....
Great food and music. Everyone very polite. Meeting Buster himself was a treat.
What’s not to love about Busters? The tri-tip is out of this world and their beans are some of the best I’ve ever had! Just a word of advice— when they ask if you want mild or spicy sauce, probably better to start with the mild- there’s zero messing around with the spicy sauce. Wonderful spot for lunch or dinner!
I had the tri-tip, pork ribs & half chicken for my wife and I. It was good except for the chicken which was dry, sides were delicious though. Good Service!
I loved the pulled pork: perfectly smoked! The garlic bread was good, too. Unfortunately, the potato salad tasted like it had been in the refrigerator too long, and the iced tea was instant. They don’t have okra or greens, and I don’t eat the other sides they offer (macaroni salad—yuck, no matter who made it—and so on). Portions are VERY generous, though, so I didn’t really need sides: I went away pleasantly stuffed on the pulled pork sandwich, washed down with a soda. I’ll be back next time I’m in Calistoga.
