Wow!!! – Im not shocked about the ratings on this place, but its a bar. What do u expected? Especially when u have astros fans(like me!) that go straight to the bus after work, then to the game for at least 3hrs and then back to the bus to finish their nite. I've been there plenty of times and yeah its busy, a fight might break out, or someone gets kicked out for having too much to drink. thats just like any other bar. so so – Its ok. I recommend the bar on the other side of the stadium, they have better drink specials and a better set up to enjoy the game.
Fantabulous – To whom is may concern, the B.U.S is a very fine establishment. Vic and Anthony's multiplied by a thousand!!!! There is no other place to go, but the B.U.S. Everything about place is "phenomenal" All that needs to be said is...... GOOD..... Staff- Great! Prices- Great! Location- Great! Great place before and after the game.. – My husband and I are at every game and have been for the past 4 years and the bus is our pre game warm up spot. We tell all our friends about this place everyone loves it and i know you will so go check it out if you haven't already....GO ASTROS!!!!!!!
the ONLY place to be before and after an ASTROS game!!!! – You go drunkinirishman you said it all!!!!!! If you want fine dining the bus is the wrong place to be, but if you want to hang out with fun ASTROS fans and drink a couple beers and don't mind a crowded place before heading to the game then you will love the bus.....and the bustro girls!!!!! THE BUS ROCKS!!! Sometimes after the baseball games, you can sometimes catch some of the Astros staff or players from the other teams hanging out. Pretty cool place. Before the games I usually go to the hotdog stand next door, for the best HOTDOGS EVER!!!!, and there is this really cute guy that owns it, you have to try the "Chicago style". :-) hi terry.
Unbelievable – I can't believe what I am reading. Who is allowing all this slandering??? Yes fights, angry and aggressive people are to be expected at such a place. However the post before mine obviously did not check over his review. The man made absolutely no sense and contradicted himself over and over again. The BUS is a good place to hang but beware.
Crowded but with Prospects – It is a shame that some people are even allowed to go to bars in this city. Bottom line: if you don't belong, don't go. When you walk across the street from a baseball game that 40,000 people have just attended and there are TWO bars to choose from, the one with the most people in it is probably not the choice for those that feel a "manger-in-site" is necessary for them to feel welcome there. Uneasy – I'm not surprised to have read such horrible reviews. I am a frequent patron of this establishment, and I however have never been discrimenated against. Though I have witnessed many an injustice here. The bartenders act like they are doing some great service to you if they just galance your way. The bouncers/doormen are suppose to be the eyes and ears of the bar.
