Very matter of fact but with a sympathetic manner.
The entire visit was on time, and Dr. Gaddy explained everything that was easy to understand.
Super service from check in to discussion with Dr Gaddy. A very positive experience.
Dr. Gaddy and his nurse, Leslie, were both efficient and prepared for each of my visits. Dr. Gaddy helped me understand the advanced arthritis in my right knee and explained that surgery was the best option. I appreciate all the pre-op preparation Dr. Gaddy provided along with referring me to the Joints and Motion Class. I'm now feeling confident about my surgery, which is scheduled for next week.
I saw him 6 months ago and he left treatment choices up to me. Here I am 6 months later. He gives alternatives based on his expertise but my choices.
I'm 73 and my right knee is total bone on bone. But, since it doesn't hurt, Dr. Gaddy did not recommend surgery but prescribed Meloxicam instead. The results have been amazing. I no longer feel like I'm going to fall all the time and I'm no longer walking stiff-legged. Dr. Gaddy is patient, and listens and explains things very well. I'm so glad I avoided surgery!
Dr Gaddy repaired & treated my L broken femur after a fall at home in 2022. In December 2023 I fell again, this time breaking my R femur. Dr Gaddy was thoughtful and caring during both incidents. My post-op visits were attentive and encouraging during both fractures, which helped me work diligently in rehab. to get better.
He was over an hour late seeing me, the appointment was rushed, he dismissed all of my concerns. He did NOT even examine the area of pain. Just said I should see another specialist because a “woman my age” is having too many symptoms and so it’s not an orthopedic issue. He was quick to interrupt, was dismissive and since the xray didn’t show anything skeletal, he MUST be right.
