I enjoy my weekly visit at Burke Williams. A real treat!
I joined BW membership 4 months ago and I so regret it. Twice I was forced to re-schedule my appointments, which is so difficult to do with my busy schedule. The latest occurred this week: since the women's locker room is being renovated, they (the women) will NOW use the men's . . . which means the men will not be able to have their own locker room. I was given the option to change in and out of my clothes in the massage room without the option of taking a shower, jacuzzi, etc, before or after. Amazing! Even more surprising... read more
went for a massage and to relax at the spa. The facility was a little small but still nice and relaxing. The massage was good but not great, no complaints. They offer fresh drinks and fruits, its good place to unwind, and cleanse I guess.
One of the best places for a day spa in the city. Go for their deep tissue massage or try an anti-aging facial!
Nice but too expensive – I had a facial, and it was good, however It was too expensive and really isn't worth the amount I spent.
Relaxation – Only ever gone for the massages and there are a few different ones from Swedish to athletic/deep tissue. On all my visits, I've been happy with the services and left happy and relaxed.
Very disappointing facial – I was so looking forward to a relaxing facial but instead was shown to a freezing cold room that never warmed up as I was told it would. The esthetician was very nice but in my opinion, a novice. The spa facial was to include hand, foot, scalp and shoulder massage but the esthetician continually said that she is not a massage therapist so it is not really a hand, foot, scalp and shoulder massage and it wasn't! great spa, a bit noisy... – 4 instead of 5 reviews bc of the talking in the girls locker room/ spa. I understand that people come here after going to the gym next door but it takes away from the "spa" experience. i had the best massage from abby. she works with your energy and besides trying to sell you an "upgrade" she does a great job. This bw is not as good as the one in SM but its so close to home that it will have to do.
great massage – they really know whatthey are doing. i only go to two places for massage. I highly recommend it.
