As an adoption professional, I have worked with the social worker and the nursing staff at Burdett on a few different occasions. I always find them to be incredibly compassionate, invested in their jobs, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They treat their patients with respect and quality care.

We recently had our son at Burdett Birth Center. He was delivered via C-Section due to being breeched. From beginning to end, the entire team at Burdett made us feel welcomed and at ease. Every midwife, nurse, and doctor we interacted with were wonderful. The nurses were extremely helpful and guided us on how to care for our newborn. They also were so kind, encouraging and available during my delivery and stay. We are forever grateful to everyone at Burdett. My wife gave birth to our first child here at Burdett let me tell you this ...this place amazed us, so much caring , very clean friendly people around you. specially experiencing this for the first time my wife she was very nervous. I gave birth to my daughter at Burdett in December, and I can't imagine having had her anywhere else. The option to labor in a jet tub and/or pool was huge. The midwives were amazing as always; Maureen and Deb supported me every step of the way. The nurses went above and beyond and treated us like family, from the moment we arrived to the time we were discharged. Overall we had an amazing experience at Burdett birth center. We just had our baby girl here on January 10th, and the nurses were amazing. We used the midwives from Capital Region Midwifery, and I cannot say enough about Shoshanna. I also want to send a special shout-out to the nurse Jenna who spent all night with me positioning me to induce labor. My son was born here about a year ago. The unprofessional staff lost my sons bilirubin blood sample 4 times. Now they want to send me a bill for their mistakes stating services rendered. Yeah no! You made the mistakes not me. The only mistake I made was going there in the first place. Ps his circumcision should’ve also been covered under his insurance.

I recently gave birth to my first child and burdett made my experience so wonderful. I was really nervous about the whole thing and the nurses were extremely caring. Special thank you to Nicole and Morgan who cared for me and my baby with so much genuine love and compassion. I truly appreciate everything these women did for us right from the beginning.
