Did not meet my expectations - especially considering how well reviewed this place is. There was a lot of inconsistency in the quality of care, information given (more so a lack of info given), and I hated my interactions with the lactation consultants (they were extremely condescending). I'm only giving Burdett a 2 because I had some phenomenal nurses, especially Christine who was amazing throughout my labor and even stayed past her shift to assist with my delivery. I delivered my two boys there. I can't say enough good things about them!!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is absolutely wonderful!!!!��
I had both of my babies here and I would recommend any mom to have her baby/babies here there was one nurse (terry) who was amazing I had comfortable experiences each time for being a young scared mom and being in a same sex relationship and being treated equally unlike Albany med my partner was able to participate in every step I love this birthing center!
I gave birth to my first on November 30 2013. I loved every single one that helped with my delivery. The whole staff is so friendly and so patience. I will for sure be going back if and when I have another child. They made my first experience an awesome one.
I have given birth at Burdett 3 times, 2013, 2016 and 2018- they have all been superb! But i do have to say this past time, 12/10-12/14 has been the best! My nurses Jaclyn, Jill, Heidi and Bonnie were the absolute best!!! I couldn’t say enough good things about them! I really miss them already. �
We had a wonderful experience here for the birth of my son in June '16. My nurse, Aline, was amazing and was definitely the reason my labor went so well. I hope she's still there when I come back to give birth to #2 in August!
The nurses were phenomenal when I was delivering my daughter! Terry was my favorite! She helped me change my positions, checked on me constantly, and did everything she could for me while taking care of other moms. She knew I didn't want any meds and didn't offer me any at all, which I was really happy about. Loved every aspect of my delivery, except there was a plumbing issue so my room didn't have hot water, but that wasn't the Center's fault! I can't say enough good things about everyone there!
Nobody wants to know how I feel about them because what I have to people might be offended by it so for right now I will keep my opinions to myself and just know I hated it.
We had a wonderful experience with the natural birth of our 10.5lb daughter at Burdett. We didn't want to leave! Each nurse was fantastic.
