LOVE Buffalo airport & SW airlines. Quick & efficient
The airport itself is 4-5 stars. Security was a breeze, but airport parking on the other hand is BS I used Airport Economy Parking for a 4 day trip and signed up for and printed out their coupon to save $1 per day. The problem is that there's was no way to redeem the coupon! No one was in the toll hut, so I had to use the unmanned checkouts. They only use credit cards and none of them have scanners to read the coupons bar code!!! SCAM!
My wife and I live in southern Ontario and we love flying out of Buffalo. The cost savings over Pearson in Toronto alone would be enough to make us want to go there but when you add the ease of getting in and out of the airport and the friendly staff and TSA agents well...it's a no brainer for us. It took longer for us to wait in line to get our Tim Hortons coffee than it did to check in with Southwest and get through security. That is not to say security wasn't thorough, they were quick and efficient. Well done Buffalo Niag... read more
Excelente en todo sus servicios; agradable experiencia y rapido el servicio de maletas muchas gracias
This trip was my first experience of flying into Buffalo, on a sudden trip on my way to my brother in law funeral in Canada, when I found my passport had expired. I flew Delta into Buffalo and found the airport to be excellent. Easy to find your way about, but moreover, every staff I encountered were professional and pleasant. Well done Buffalo, you have my respect.
I haven't flew into Buffalo in a while and the first thing I see getting off the plane was the Anchor Bar Restaurant and Tim Hortons coffee! It was great seeing these staples of the city at the airport. The airport was clean, bright and the ease of travel to baggage claim and the exit was great. Hopefully my experience flying out in a few days will be just as good!
Picking up my friends so I wasn't there long but experience wasn't too bad
This airport is easy from ticketing to security. The airport is clean and modern. I have never experienced delays and the restaurants and shoppes are conveniently located without having to walk miles to get to your gate. The atmosphere is light and pleasant.
Even though my flight was canceled and rerouted, everyone was very nice. Lots of comfy spots to sit, food not bad. All in all, it was okay.
