I used to really like this store. You could get great deals on jeans. Find some vintage treasures. I don't even know how to describe what they have now. Buffalo Exchange has a reputation for not being a particularly pleasant place to sell clothes. Not just this one-all of them. They used to be the only place that bought clothes but now there at least 5 places within 10 miles. Maybe all the good stuff is there.
Buffalo Exchange is not what it used to be. They fallen under the mainstream trendy fashion “must haves”. And they don’t accept plus size clothing in great well maintained condition or jeans that are well maintained in variety sizes. It may say that on the website, but they don’t! Plato’s Closet took more items than this place did. If you plan on selling your clothes here DON’T. You’re better off going somewhere else.
The buyers are too picky. Took a lot of good clothing and they only bought 3 pieces of clothing
What a terrible experience. I didn’t go in thinking I’d be rich emptying my closet after losing 70lbs, but there were definitely a few seasonal shirts. I brought 3 garbage bags of clothes and the unhappy looking woman evaluating my clothes certainly wasn’t a fashionista. I donated 3 bags of well taken care of clothes. By far the best inventory of any vintage or second-hand/thrift shop! I really liked the BE in Minneapolis then we moved here and I learned just how limited the Minneapolis store was. I try to come here at least every week because I hate to miss a real bargain. More than that, it’s a store with very friendly and helpful staff, whether you’re buying or selling.
