If you are a proponent of fair employment practices, do not support this restaurant! This restaurant may have been great at one point, but the new management has been shown to be corrupt. My roommate got a job there recently as a chef and was an excellent and very fast employee according to all of his fellow staff. Unfortunately, after about two weeks of working there, he got FOOD POISONING at the restaurant while at work by food someone else made and he was throwing up for hours and told to take the weekend off. Monday morn... read more

Buddha's Belly is about to vomit – Buddha's Belly is mediocre food with lousy service in a generic environment. If you are looking for a second-rate dining experience, well look no further! This restaurant is on the same level as Panda Express, and that is only due to the fact that the ambiance, while pretentious, is somewhat pleasant. Personally, I think the food tastes better at any run-of-the-mill fast food Chinese restaurant. The wait staff are the Stepford wives of servers. I went there on a date, and our waiter kept in... read more

Buddha's ASS – i must confess, I have never had the inclination nor patience to blog about anything. Ever. But my experience which I am afraid to say still lingers on my palette regardless of how much trail mix I can stuff in my mouth as I type this drives me to break my rule. Angelinos beware! This is a sham! The Emperor is not only without a stitch, but shamelessly without a clue or care that his chubby buddy Buddha is passing off hospital food as cuisine. If Death threats were being bandied about for off color cartoons of... read more

Terrible for groups of six who like the number 37 – We are english and they don't like english people. Anyone wearing glasses should be aware they must take them off before you come in. Food amazing on everyday apart from Thursdays

Love going here This place has a good selection of pan-Asian food that isn't terribly expensive... I am addicted to the peanut noodles with chicken. I also love the mojitos here, randomly enough. They taste great and I'm usually pretty tipsy after about 2! There is valet parking, but it's not too difficult to find nearby parking on one of the side streets (just make sure to check the signs).

Can't beat it Excellent menu for health conscious. You can eat like a Buddha- well, like a fat person for very little. Well-priced. My recomendations are the ginger stir fried rice (rockin with all the good stuff- steak, shrimp) the salmon, the tofu and vegetables (always fresh and a nice, subtle flavor), and the new vegetable they just added- the zuchinni in a mild curry sauce. Service is prompt enough and friendly. Park on the street or a few spots in front. Enjoy.

Great Food, Reasonable Price, and Great Ambiance – Great food. I had the the sour apple soju martini with the albacore avocado spring rolls and the alaskan black cod all reasonably priced without sacrificing quality.

Zen and Upscale Nice, trendy, and good. It's a nicer type of Asian restaurant that fuses Chinese, Japanese, and Thai influences. I like their modern take of the traditional Asian dishes. They even infuse their rice with something which I can not figure, but its good. It gets quite busy. There's valet parking or street parking.
