Went for dinner today. The ambiance is nice. I did like the outdoor bar & patio. However, the service could have been a little better. The bartender could have upped her game regarding her greeting me and making recommendations from the menu. The food was so & so. The crab & corn chowder tasted nice. The open crab agratin sandwich tasted like it had too much sauce for the recipe. The fries were cold & soggy the first time, but it was hot & crispy the second time. RecommendedComfortable, cozy spot with an old school tavern feel. Great food, beer and atmosphere. Many great family memories here.
Much to our surprise, we found Buckley's open for a late-night meal, after driving b ack up from the beach. Quinoa Burger and Sweet Potato Fries for me, interesting Turkey sandwich for hub. Great service. Such a treat to have this restaurant in our neighbourhood. Everyone should have a Buckleys!
We were a party of 10 called same day for lunch later. Food and service was both outstanding.
