BUYER BEWARE! The ole bait and switch! Purchased a policy from Daniel here at a great rate after being very reluctant to do so after being with my current insurance provider for 10+ years. After canceling my old insurance and having to call Daniel (state farm) to make sure my policy had been issued and good to go, I was informed that it had been issued and I was good to go. This is when things got interesting! Two days later I recieved a call from Daniel stating that my policies price had raised considerably and he recommend... read more
Constantly raising rates and very rude staff. Won't return my calls explaining why my rates are in read sing twice within 3 months, all they can tell me is it's apparently from. The same traffic accident back in October 2018! This company price gouges you for the same things until you can no longer afford their coverage. Sadistic company should be avoided at all costs. They don't care about long term customers.
State farm insurance for auto and renters has been competitive so far concerning price. Nevertheless, customer service has been increasingly poor, from misinformation on the phone resulting in delays, redos, etc. From hanging on the phone with agents to do just about anything, from having to make repeat calls the get things sorted that I should be able to do online and that the website failed to do properly. Coverage changes made online that agent says were never received, info given through 1-800 call center that's wrong an... read more
When we got another vehicle, we called them and set up insurance, also chose the stacking option which they told us would be another $27 and it would be added to my next bill (auto pay). 6 months later we got another vehicle and called them about it, they advised us that the insurance was cancelled because the $27 was never paid. First of all, we were told it would be on our next bill which is set up for autopay. Second of all, we never received a phone call, email, text, or letter in the mail stating we owed $27 nor did we ... read more
State farm has now taken off the monthly fees. However if you have multicar discounts and 1 or 2 cars are not up to date on the bills they send you a new bill but not explaining the change in policy. I had my policy changed with a 14.10 and no explantiom other than change in policy. Wrong they are slick not putting what the real reason is. we need to stop State farm in the future on how they bill. They are trying all they can to get every penny out of the customers. State farm has changed so much where they are loosing focus... read more

State Farm auto has been my insurer for 35 years. My car was totalled by an elderly disoriented man. He had cut rate insurance and I was offered half the cash value needed to replace my car. I switched to my insurance. State Farm offered me $1300 more. I still needed an additional $6000 to replace my car. I filed with the ******* ********* ****. State Farm had **********(they create independent sales listings) create fake sales listings and submit them to the ******* ********* ****. I knew my car wasn't selling for those pri... read more
I was almost a 10-year customer. I requested full insurance on a motorcycle only to find out that my coverage lacked Personal Injury Protection, and who knows what else, which is why I specifically asked for full coverage to be applied. Upon discovering that I didn't have PIP coverage and getting stuck with a $2.5k medical bill I simply asked why that coverage wasn't applied... Multiple times... for over 6 months. No one ever answered my question. Not my local agent. Not the corporate office. No one would give me an answer. ... read more

I had a business policy for 12 months. I told my agent that well before the 12 month mark that I did not want to renew it. I sent an email to her a month before reminding her of this. I still have it in my records. Soon after the 12 months I sent a message on Facebook to the agent, again reminding her that my policy should be not have been renewed. It was. Not only was the policy continued, but I had a payment taken for the renewed policy, again, not something that I wanted. I called the 800 number and did not get anywhere. ... read more
