We went for lunch yesterday and it was not at all busy. Our waitress was excellent and extremely attentive. But, the food was subpar. My husband ordered a shrimp platter and said it was very similar to Captain D’s. I ordered a burger with fries. The fries were cold and I couldn’t tell if the burger was cold or simply not done. The fried pickles were descent, but honestly nothing tasted restaurant quality or as though it wasn’t processed off site. Our sweet waitress was wonderful though.
The raw oysters were fantastically fresh!
Great oysters! On the 1/2 shell or baked, they’re awesome! I also recommend the shrimp and grits! They use Gouda cheese! Simply amazing! The staff is very friendly and courteous! I really enjoy the Southern Hospitality! Bubba’s is an annual dinner date for us when we come to Gulf Shores!
lots of food for the money. $5 bushwackers during happy hour. we will be back. i did want to get a tshirt but no 2x.
