I actually live just 25 miles from Brussel's so I had the chance to go and personally select my Bonsai. The staff there are very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that I selected the exact specimen that I had invisioned. I was relieved when staff insisted on putting my concerns about shipping it to rest. They led me on a tour of their packing facility and I was able to personalize my gift before it was shipped. Will be back for sure.
Just received my first purchase and was so impressed, I think I've started a new hobby. Quality of the Redwoods was amazing! The pot was undamaged and beautiful and the shipping - you know this company LOVES their plants...the bonsai came as if I had planted it myself - absolutely no room for movement of soil or plant inside the box. I was quite impressed with their selection and low prices. I ordered 6 bonsai's from them, when my shipment came it was only 1 tree. I called and they stated 6 where shipped. This shipping order showed only 1 tree on it. After calling and emailing several times, I became frustrated with their customer service, whom where lacking in customer service skills, transferred me all over, never returned calls or emails. Extensive variety and extreme quality. Available, helpful and not pesky staff. Friendly and genuine. commercial, but built by the guy over long time and he was very sharing.
Just received a azalea bonsai from my son and daughter in law for Mother's Day. It was packaged, beautifully, as in, it was perfect upon delivery. The tree is a wonderful plant, 2 flowers getting ready to bloom, and a lot of buds all over. Eager to become a new bonsai owner! I have purchased from Brussel's for over 20 years and have never had a tree die except when it was my fault. I will admit that I try to do most of my purchases upon nursery visits rather than by mail.
