I have been to many counselors. However, my son did not receive any help. He went there for appro 6 months and got no where. If your child needs a more direct, no nonsense therapist find someone else. But to be fair, if you are considering him, have a consultation to see if he and your child would work together. He didn't help my son at all and felt it was a waste of time and resources.
