Beautiful country for sure! Plenty of trails for horseback riding and hiking.
Its an awesome get a way. I wish the trails was more adventures. Love the camping site.
Beautiful weekend destination for families of all ages. Who doesnt love trees?
Stayed in the Abe Martin lodge over spring break and enjoyed a very friendly staff and clean accommodations. The gals at the horse stable were incredibly helpful and friendly as well. Of course the park itself is beautiful, even in the gray spring weather we had and hiking trails are well maintained. I will likely go back and would certainly recommend it to friends. The only downside is very poor WiFi in guest rooms.
Very nice park, we like the hiking trails. However today my daughter and my niece with a few friends decided to go on a hike. It got dark on them and they got lost. They called the park office and we're told to keep walking, my daughter called me and was scared, pitch black and her phone was at 20%. I called park office and was told the same thing...are you kidding me? A group of young kids lost and scared and that's the best advice you gave.
