Nicknamed the "Little Smokies" because of the area's resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains, Brown County encompasses nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges and fog-shrouded ravines. Incredibly rude and condescending man at the West gate this morning. I drove off after being insulted for the third time. My friend convinced me that this was simply the troll we have to pass in order to get into the forest. We went in finally through the north gate. Why do they hire people who have no people skills and incredibly insensitive manner to be the point person for the public? I never want to go to Brown County State Park again thanks to this man.
Love the camping and very clean nice place. I only give it a 4 star bc we have to pay for everything in campground. Swimming pool should be free to campers. When you spend 30$ a night to camp and have a family of six paying 3$ a person can get costly for 5 days!
Love it. So beautiful n the fall. Bt i live really close ta it so i dont go very often.
