I would leave more than 5 stars if I could. This company did a very thorough and professional job. John, the owner, is an honest, hard-working family man, who makes money the old-fashioned way, through building relationships. The crew did an excellent job and kept the job site very clean. He actually answers his own phone and is one of the few people I've met who are as picky as I am. He is relentless in follow-up and I know that we got a great job. John and his crew were awesome and we would use them again (although, hopefully we won't have to). We had several companies out to give estimates for foundation reinforcement/a water management system and nothing was as thorough as Brothers. John personally came in and looked at the basement and then went into great detail on what he would do - sketching it out for us right there. We had a relatively simple problem to take care of -- a single vertical crack in our foundation, running from ceiling to floor. We just wanted to make sure it wouldn't get worse, particularly because we were having an expensive patio installed outside right on top of the crack. We interviewed four contractors. We got a range of proposals, from "don't worry about it" to "patch the crack and do more." After noticing some water in my basement after heavy rains in December, I found a fairly sizable horizontal crack in my concrete foundation. I brought out a structural engineer who determined what fixes needed to be made, and he actually recommended Brothers Waterproofing. I had received quotes from other waterproofing companies but decided to use Brothers based on their competitive quote and the engineers recommendation. I have been meaning to write this review for several months. John and his crew from Brothers did an outstanding job with my basement waterproofing. I suffered in the Mount Rainier floods last year with severe flooding, and it became clear that waterproofing was needed to prevent this from happening again. I was hesitant because contractors can be so difficult to work with and because they often take months to complete the work. We hired Brothers Waterproofing to fix an awful basement waterproofing job done by another company. I had done my hungrier and knew what needed to be done. They walked in and were able to tell me everything the other company did wrong. They did a great job! We have had a few rains and no leaks. They were fast and Ioan was very kind and patiently answered all of my questions.

I contacted Brothers Waterproofing because of many years of ongoing water issues. John came to my house almost immediately after I contacted him. He assured me that once the job was completed, my water issues would be a thing of the past. It is so reassuring to know when it rains I no longer have to worry, or be anxious knowing I will go down to a flooded basement.
